Not every shoe sold as "genuine leather" is. Here is a test you can do anywhere. Press and hold the swatch.
Full-grain leather
The top layer of the hide, nothing sanded away. Pores, scars and all. It softens with wear and ages into a patina no factory can print.

- Fine wrinkles fan out from your fingertip and fade slowly. The grain is alive.
- Care
- Wipe with a dry cloth. Cream once a month. Keep away from heaters.
